On October 13, 2024, 27-year-old Jaleel Marquise Turner was fatally shot in his apartment at The Southern – Apartment Homes on Lascassas Pike in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The incident occurred around 2:00 p.m. following a domestic argument between Turner and his live-in girlfriend, 22-year-old Shaquira Brown. During the altercation, Brown allegedly shot Turner once inside their shared residence.
