Javarius Malone, a 32-year-old African American man from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on September 27, 2020. He was found with a gunshot wound to the chest on Gunnerson Avenue and was later pronounced dead at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital. The incident was quickly classified as a homicide, prompting an immediate investigation by the Murfreesboro Police Department.
