Jason Barrett Hammett, a 43-year-old resident of Spartanburg, South Carolina, tragically passed away on June 10, 2021, after being shot in the head. The incident occurred on June 8, 2021, on Old Spartanburg Highway in Woodruff, SC. According to the Spartanburg County Coroner's Office, Hammett was pronounced brain dead just after 11:30 a.m. on June 10, 2021.
