Montavis Deshun Jones, a 20-year-old male from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on December 4, 2020. He was ambushed and shot at the Campus Crossing Apartments in Murfreesboro. The investigation revealed that Jones was lured to the location under the pretense of purchasing marijuana. Once there, he was ambushed by five individuals who had planned the attack.
