Scott Olver Mazzillo, a 7-year-old boy from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, tragically lost his life on September 25, 1982. Scott was visiting his family at a trailer home in Jenkins Township when a horrific incident unfolded. His death was part of a larger, devastating event known as the 1982 Wilkes-Barre shootings, which resulted in the deaths of 13 people, including seven children.
