In the early morning hours of September 18, 2020, the life of Maurice Antowne Dillon, a 34-year-old Black / African American man, was tragically cut short in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Police were dispatched to a residence in the 500 block of South Franklin Street around 2:20 a.m. after receiving reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, they discovered an unresponsive male inside the home who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
