A promising life was cut short on August 11, 2019, when 31-year-old Leon M. Bailey of Nanticoke, a borough near Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, was killed. Bailey, a man known for his dedication to his community and family, worked as a corrections officer and a paramedic. His death was the result of a violent encounter that ended in a second death, that of the man suspected of killing him.
