On October 24, 2021, Jose Rafael Mena-Disla, a 24-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, was fatally shot at the Mofon Lounge in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred early Sunday morning when two groups from Scranton, who were known to each other and involved in an ongoing dispute, attended a function at the lounge.
