In the quiet night of December 7, 2017, the life of 28-year-old Kervin Lee Garcia was tragically cut short on the doorstep of his South Franklin Street apartment in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. At approximately 9:50 p.m., two individuals reportedly approached Garcia and fired a single shot, striking him in the neck and face before fleeing the scene on foot.
