Maurice Chapman, a 31-year-old male from Wilkes-Barre, PA, tragically lost his life on January 30, 2021, due to gunshot wounds sustained in a shooting incident on South Main Street. The incident also claimed the life of Damian Thomas, 32, and left another individual, Alquan Cade, severely injured. The shooter and a getaway driver managed to escape in a silver minivan, leaving the community in shock and mourning.
