Carlos Taffanelly, a 47-year-old man from Stroudsburg, PA, tragically died on October 5, 2020, in Wilkes-Barre, PA. He was involved in a fatal shooting incident that took place on North Street near North River Street in Wilkes-Barre. The incident began as a result of a domestic dispute involving Turner and Jamielyn Giraldo, Taffanelly's daughter. When Taffanelly and his wife Liliana Giraldo arrived to pick up Jamielyn, Turner alleged that Taffanelly threatened him with a pipe.
