Mauritania Banks, a 20-month-old girl of mixed ethnicity, tragically lost her life on September 25, 1982, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Susan Yuhas and George Emil Banks. Mauritania was one of the victims in a horrific mass shooting spree carried out by her father, George Emil Banks, who was a former prison guard.
