Montanzima Banks, a 6-year-old girl of African American ethnicity from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, tragically lost her life on September 25, 1982. She was the daughter of Regina Clemens and George Banks. Montanzima was one of the victims in a horrific mass shooting spree carried out by George Emil Banks, a former prison guard. On that fateful day, Banks fatally shot 13 people, including seven children, their mothers, some of their relatives, and one bystander.
