On a tragic day in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, 11-year-old Nancy Lyons was killed in a horrifying mass shooting that claimed the lives of 12 other people. The events unfolded on September 25, 1982, when George Emil Banks, a 40-year-old former prison guard, went on a violent rampage fueled by a twisted ideology.
