Nancy Lyons, an 11-year-old girl from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, tragically lost her life on September 25, 1982. She was the daughter of Dorothy Lyons and was killed by a gunshot wound to the head. Nancy's death was part of a larger, horrific event that took place that day, known as the Wilkes-Barre massacre.
