In a tragic end to a life marked by a violent act a quarter-century earlier, Tina L. Hertzog, a 45-year-old white woman from Reading, Pennsylvania, died on February 1, 2023. Her death was the direct result of complications from a gunshot wound she sustained in 1998 at the age of 21, an injury that left her paralyzed for the remainder of her life. The shooting occurred in her home during a physical altercation involving four people.
