In the pre-dawn hours of May 17, 2005, Patricia Ann 'Trish' McDermott, a 48-year-old White female, followed her daily routine, a path that would tragically lead to her untimely death. A dedicated X-ray technician at Pennsylvania Hospital, she had just stepped off a SEPTA bus at her usual stop on Market Street in Philadelphia.
