On October 6, 2024, at approximately 12:39 a.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to a shooting incident on the 600 block of Franklin Place. Upon arrival, they discovered 17-year-old Amber Lewis suffering from gunshot wounds. She was immediately transported to Jefferson Hospital, where medical personnel pronounced her deceased.
