Catherine Willett, a 79-year-old woman from Pittsburgh, PA, tragically died on January 23, 2014. Her death was ruled a murder. According to police reports, her husband, Phillip Willett, who was terminally ill at the time, shot her in the head while she was backing out of the room. Phillip Willett claimed he wanted to die, but police determined that Catherine Willett was not suffering from any illness and was backing out of the room when she was shot.
