Cortney Sue Snyder, a 23-year-old woman from Connellsville, Pennsylvania, tragically lost her life on January 28, 2018, in Melcroft, Fayette County. She was one of four victims killed in a mass shooting outside Ed's Car Wash on Indian Creek Valley Road. The incident occurred early in the morning, and the shooter, identified as Timothy O'Brien Smith, 28, was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Smith was armed with an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle and a 9mm handgun.
