In the early morning hours of January 26, 2014, in Philadelphia, the life of 23-year-old Kyleaf Gordon was tragically cut short. Just before 2 a.m., the sound of gunfire echoed on Ridge Avenue near Page Street. When police responded to the reports, they discovered Gordon collapsed on the street with gunshot wounds to his head and back. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital, but his injuries were too severe, and he succumbed to them just fifteen minutes after his arrival.
