John Mapp, a 40-year-old male from Philadelphia, PA, tragically died on July 20, 2014. His death was the result of a violent family dispute that occurred in the early hours of that Sunday morning. According to reports, John Mapp was shot by his younger brother, Jerome Mapp, who is a paraplegic. Jerome claimed he acted in defense of their sister, Deena Mapp, who was being physically abused by John.
