On the evening of March 8, 2023, 37-year-old Frank Pralour of Lansdowne, Pennsylvania, was fatally shot in the Logan section of Philadelphia. The incident occurred just after 9:30 p.m. in the 4900 block of North Broad Street, near a local bar. Responding officers found Pralour lying on the street with a gunshot wound to the chest; notably, he was holding a firearm at the time. He was promptly transported to Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 10 p.m.
Surveillance footage from the scene revealed that the assailant approached Pralour in close proximity before discharging a single shot. The suspect was last observed fleeing south on Broad Street toward Rockland Street. Despite the clarity of the footage, the identity of the shooter remains unknown. As of April 7, 2023, the Philadelphia Police Department has been actively seeking assistance from the public to identify the suspect, offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
