In the Mayfair section of Philadelphia, a 14-year-old male named Ian Wilsey was fatally shot on the evening of November 28, 2016. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. in the 6200 block of Brous Avenue, where Wilsey was in the company of a 16-year-old friend. According to police reports, two men approached the teenagers, and one opened fire, striking Wilsey. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries less than an hour later. His friend was not physically harmed in the attack.
