On the night of March 31, 2020, Khalil Simmons, a 28-year-old Black male, was found lying in the street in front of a residence on the 3500 block of Indian Queen Lane in Philadelphia, PA. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his back and was quickly transported to Temple University Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
