Alton Adams, a 19-year-old male from Bayou Blue, Louisiana, was tragically shot and killed on the night of February 10, 2019, while inside his mother's home in Lockport, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 10:25 p.m. in the 100 block of East Fontinelle Street. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots fired outside the residence, and one of those rounds penetrated the home, striking Adams. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
