On June 14, 2024, at approximately 10:50 p.m., deputies from the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a shooting on St. Patrick Street in Donaldsonville, Louisiana. Upon arrival, they discovered 22-year-old Trevon Theron Dunn, a local resident, deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. Another individual, whose identity was not disclosed, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and transported himself to a nearby hospital for treatment.
