Robert West II, a 13-year-old boy from Independence, Louisiana, was tragically killed on December 23, 2018. He and his mother, Daytra Miller, were found shot to death inside their home near Fontana Road and Labruzza Lane in Independence. The double homicide was reported on Sunday evening, and the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office described the crime as heinous. Detectives believe that the person responsible for the killings was familiar with the victims.
