Dollie Evans, a 67-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on August 23, 2014, in Philadelphia, PA. She was affectionately known as "Grandma" in her neighborhood and was well-regarded for her kindness and willingness to help those in need. Evans was fatally shot in the back of her head while at her home on the 4700 block of Vista Street in the Tacony neighborhood.
