On December 11, 2014, Leanne McDade, a 42-year-old woman from Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania, tragically lost her life in what was determined to be a murder-suicide. Leanne McDade was found shot to death in her home along with her husband, Mark McDade, who was 45 years old. According to the Westmoreland County coroner, Mark McDade shot his wife and then turned the firearm on himself, sustaining a fatal self-inflicted gunshot wound.
