Eliezer Mendez, a 22-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically lost his life on May 19, 2015, in Philadelphia, PA. He was fatally shot in the chest near the 2000 block of East Stella Street in Kensington, Pennsylvania. The investigation into his death led to the arrest of Rhaheem Friend, who was a witness and possibly a suspect in the murder. Friend claimed to have a computer tablet containing potential evidence in the murder, as well as an illegal firearm in his sister's closet.
