Death by Force

On the evening of March 4, 2023, at approximately 9:21 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to a residence on the 3700 block of North Carlisle Street in the Tioga neighborhood, following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered 19-year-old Samir Burton inside the home, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. Officers immediately transported him to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
