In the early morning hours of Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2022, the life of 27-year-old Shahere 'Diamond' Jackson-McDonald was tragically cut short in a senseless act of violence. A Black transgender woman, she was discovered in her mother's apartment on the 400 block of Manheim Street in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.
