Victoria Moore, aged 29, was found dead on October 27, 1996, along 20 Mile Road near Sparta Avenue, in Tyrone Township, about 20 miles north of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Her body was discovered in a decomposed state by a local squirrel hunter. Victoria had last been seen alive on August 1, 1996, in the vicinity of Division Avenue and Logan Street, an area known for sex work activity in Grand Rapids.
