Jacob Pushinsky, an 18-year-old male from Erie, PA, tragically died on July 11, 2015, as a result of an attempted robbery. Pushinsky was born on March 13, 1997, and was a senior at East High School, where he was a member of the Army Jr. ROTC. He was fatally shot once in the left side by 14-year-old Derrys Sanders Jr., who attempted to steal Pushinsky's bicycle.
