On a summer night in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, a family dispute tragically escalated, leading to the death of 43-year-old Eric L. Rivers Sr. The incident unfolded in the early morning hours of July 12, 2015, on a porch in the 400 block of Crescent Street. Police responded to a report of a shooting at 1:23 a.m. and found Rivers with a gunshot wound. Officers administered CPR until medical personnel arrived, but Rivers was pronounced dead shortly after.
