Eric L. Rivers Sr., a 44-year-old African American man from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, tragically lost his life on July 12, 2015. He was shot multiple times by Shawn Walker, a family acquaintance, following a dispute. The incident occurred on the front porch of Rivers' cousin's home on Crescent Street in Harrisburg. Despite the presence of over 100 people in the area at the time, it took police more than three hours to find a witness willing to come forward.
