In the early morning hours of New Year's Eve in 2015, the life of a young Philadelphia man was tragically cut short. Denzel Collins, a 21-year-old Black male, found himself the victim of fatal gun violence in the city's streets. The incident unfolded at approximately 12:21 a.m. when Philadelphia Police officers were dispatched to the 3100 block of North 25th Street following a report.
