Demon Marktez Higgins, a 25-year-old male, tragically lost his life on March 15, 2016, in New Castle, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred at the Lincoln Housing Complex, where Higgins was fatally shot in the chest during an altercation. The suspect, Joseph Cohen, aged 46, was arrested shortly after the incident. Cohen allegedly got into an argument with Higgins before shooting him. He was charged with criminal homicide and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
