On June 10, 2023, a tragic shooting occurred at Bollinger Playground in New Castle, Pennsylvania, during a high school graduation celebration. The incident resulted in the death of 15-year-old Damian Jackson and injuries to two other teenage boys, aged 13 and 14. The celebration, which began on the evening of June 9, extended past midnight, culminating in the shooting shortly after 1 a.m.
