In a tragic turn of events that began with a verbal dispute, 24-year-old Marquis Johnson of Coatesville, Pennsylvania, was shot and killed on a Tuesday night in June 2016. The fatal encounter unfolded in Norristown, where Johnson had a heated argument with another man inside a BP gas station. The disagreement spilled outside, and moments after both men left the station, the night was shattered by the sound of eleven gunshots.
