They parked around the corner and waited for the teenagers to approach before opening fire. Freeman was armed with a .22-caliber handgun.
Freeman and Wilson were both charged with first-degree murder, third-degree murder, criminal conspiracy, aggravated assault, and related charges. Wilson was also charged with unsworn falsification to authorities. Freeman was arrested on August 30, 2017, by the United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force, while Wilson was taken into custody earlier that week. Freeman was considered armed and dangerous at the time of his arrest.
