On August 1, 2023, 18-year-old D'Angelo Isaiah Artez Bond was fatally shot in the 400 block of Westside Boulevard NW in Roanoke, Virginia. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported Bond to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
