In the early morning hours of October 9, 2024, the life of 32-year-old Jeremy Johnson was cut short in his second-floor apartment on East Marshall Street in Norristown, Pennsylvania. Norristown Police were dispatched to the residence at approximately 4:08 a.m. after receiving a 911 call. Upon arrival, officers found the front door to the building open and encountered a man, identified as 41-year-old Saleem Smith, standing on the sidewalk.
