In the early evening of November 30, 2025, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of a Norristown, Pennsylvania neighborhood, leaving 19-year-old Hamid Boyd with multiple gunshot wounds. The incident occurred around 6:15 p.m. near the intersection of Powell and Spruce Streets. First responders rushed Boyd to a nearby hospital, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. Investigators at the scene recovered a significant amount of evidence, including 45 fired cartridge casings.
