Edward Dubinsky, a 33-year-old man from Warminster, PA, was tragically found shot to death on his front porch on July 14, 2016. The autopsy revealed that he died from a single gunshot wound to the head, and the Bucks County Coroner’s Office ruled his death a homicide. The incident occurred in Jamison, a neighborhood in Warwick Township.
The investigation into Dubinsky's death quickly led authorities to believe that the killing was linked to a love triangle.
Jeffrey Gould, a 33-year-old man from Bensalem, was identified as the primary suspect. Gould was charged with criminal homicide after he admitted to shooting Dubinsky. He and his companion, Zannatul Naim , who had an on-again-off-again relationship with Dubinsky, became the focus of the investigation.
Gould and Naim fled the scene in a borrowed champagne-colored Chevy Silverado truck with New Jersey license plates. They were eventually found in North Carolina, where Gould confessed to the shooting. Naim was considered a person of interest but was not immediately charged. The couple had been living together in Bensalem and had recently been fired from their jobs at a financial firm in Southampton.
The case was prosecuted by the Bucks County District Attorney's office, and Gould was sentenced to 15 to 30 years in state prison for third-degree murder. The investigation involved the Warwick Township Police Department and the Bucks County Detectives.
This tragic event marked the first murder in Warwick Township in 27 years, and the community was deeply affected by the loss of Dubinsky. The investigation remains a significant case in the history of Bucks County law enforcement.
