Leonard Boyer III, a 25-year-old male staffer at the Philadelphia City Commissioners office, was tragically shot and killed on August 20, 2016, in front of his mother's home in North Philadelphia. Boyer was shot multiple times in the back and head by two unidentified assailants who fled the scene in a black vehicle with New Jersey license plates.
