Kasper Martin, a 17-year-old White/Caucasian male from Johnstown, Pennsylvania, died on November 9, 2016, after a shooting in the Hornerstown section of the city. He had been a student in the Greater Johnstown School District, and his obituary described him as a Johnstown senior who was born in Washington, D.C., and had family ties through his parents, siblings and grandparents. The violence unfolded on Pine Street, where police said they received reports of gunfire around 9 p.m. that night.
