On a Sunday evening in May 2017, a sense of tragedy befell the city of Camden, New Jersey. Roseanne Sutton, a 36-year-old female from the nearby city of Trenton, found her life abruptly and violently cut short. She was discovered in her vehicle at the intersection of 7th and Line streets, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The grim discovery was made by police who were responding to a 911 call and an alert from the city's ShotSpotter system around 7:30 p.m.
