Lavell Beason, a 24-year-old male from Erie, Pennsylvania, tragically passed away on January 23, 2017. He was fatally shot in the chest while sitting in a minivan parked on East 22nd Street in Erie. The incident occurred when 14-year-old Keyon Lucas fired gunshots into the van, which contained four people. Beason's death was ruled as a result of the gunshot wound.
