Tyshaun De’Pree Thrower, a 20-year-old African American male from Erie, PA, tragically lost his life on October 24, 2014. He was fatally shot in the chest shortly after leaving his aunt's house on East 23rd and Holland streets. The incident occurred around 9:45 p.m., and Thrower's body was found on a front lawn on the southeast corner of the intersection. Erie police officers responded to the scene but initially had no suspects in custody.
