In the early morning hours of July 2, 2015, in Erie, Pennsylvania, a talented 22-year-old Black male named Justin Allen Wiley was fatally shot. The incident occurred at approximately 12:20 a.m. near the intersection of 19th and Chestnut Streets. Responding to a 911 call reporting gunshots, City of Erie Police discovered Wiley unresponsive in the driver's seat of his silver Grand Am, which had come to rest in the yard of a corner house.
